INTRODUCTION TO IBPS



This is my post on IBPS exam point.  Here i will be put some material for this exam.This material will be helpful to all people who are going to give this exam in Oct 2014. 
Here i will put some latest exam questions and materials which will surely helpful to all people.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an autonomous agency in india, which started its operation in 1975 as Personnel Selection Services (PSS). In 1984, IBPS became an independent entity at the behest of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Public Sector Banks. IBPS is envisioned as self-governed academic and research oriented Institute, with a mission of enhancing human-resource development through personnel assessment. In 2011, IBPS announced a Common Written Examination (CWE) for the selection Officers and Clerks in Indian banks. IBPS CWE is now mandatory for anyone who seeks an employment in 20 public sector and Regional Rural banks. IBPS periodically accepts the exam applications from the candidates at their website www.ibps.in  IBPS EXAM, and the exams are organized at various locations in the country in online mode.

The Governing Board consists of nominees from Reserve Bank of India, Ministry of Finance Government of India, National Institute of Bank Management, representatives of Public Sector Banks, Insurance sector and academics. The matters related to policy and affairs of the Institute are vested in the Governing Board.[3]

Recruitments though IBPS

An IBPS Recruitment is done in three stages. The first phase is Common written examination, followed by Interview and the final placement.
  • CWE PROBATIONARY OFFICER/MT: Recruitment of Probationary Officers or Management Trainees.
  • CWE Clerk: Recruitment of Clerical Assistants.
  • CWE Specialist Officer: Recruitment of IT, LAW, engineering, marketing and other professionals.
  • CWE RRB Officers and Assistants: Recruitment of Officers& Office assistants to Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) governed by NABARD.



IBPS Latest Eligibility Criteria For Clerk, PO, SO, RRB Recruitment 2014-15



IBPS recruitment of past year is almost getting over. Most of the candidates are preparing for the next which is IBPS recruitment 2014 and it will probably come in the order RRB, PO/MT (Probationary Officer) and Clerical. IBPS Specialist Officer (SO) 2014 notification has already been came and the CWE will be in the month of February.



Now its the time to ready for next IBPS recruitment for the year 2014. It should be better if IBPS gives the eligibility criteria for candidates a little bit earlier, but they will not. IBPS eligibility criteria will only be announced when the recruitment notification comes and last year’s PO/MT recruitment eligibility criteria had made some confusions because of that. Anyway we are here to to let you know the eligibility criteria for upcoming IBPS recruitment 2014 which includes minimum educational qualification and age limit.

There will not be any change for the eligibility criteria of IBPS clerk recruitment 2014 from the previous one. The on or before date which the candidate should pass their graduation will be one year more from the last year’s. You will get the detailed view from below

IBPS PO/MT Recruitment 2014-15 Eligibility Criteria

Last time IBPS rolled back the criteria which came with the notification since IBPS had given no clues before about the change in minimum educational qualification and age limit. We expect that, for the upcoming IBPS PO/MT recruitment 2014-15, there would not be any rolling back, it will be the same as the past. We have given it below in detail. As on date will be changes for the next.
